Candledreams
Created from offcuts of 6mm float glass while cutting circles for dragon eggs. The candle shape naturally took shape while stacking them up, so I had no choice but to make this sculpture.
The bubbles are made from old glass marbles and they represent our dreams.
If you look closely at them you can see your reflection in reverse and upside down. A little crazy - just like our dreams!

Shard Tree Sculpture
Made from glass chippings left over from the 'knapping' process - these razor sharp flakes have been glued to a glass plate and sealed between 2 other plates to make this a free-standing sculpture.
The coloured leaves and fruits are from other chippings and items found at car boot sales.
Copper leaf has been applied to the background, with areas scrubbed away to allow the tree to glow with backlights
